5th gen axleback exhaust on stock 4th gen?

5th gen axleback exhaust on stock 4th gen?
anybody ever tried to put the stock rear section(axle back) of a 5th gen muffler onto the stock exhaust system of a 4th gen? im sure there not a direct match but i figured they have to be close, just wondering how close of a match it would be, i have a welder i just haven't really used it that much yet,
found one cheap on ebay and want to get rid of the fart cannon on this lude im about to drop an h22a in, thanks!

they fit, except 4gen has 1 mount by outlet and by inlet, 5gen has 2 mounts by outlet but any muffler shop can weld u another mount for cheap
