never really thought about doing this but it sounds like it might be a pretty good way to go... i found a 2004 k24a2 long block with 4072 miles on it, a k20a2 head with port and polish and a k20a2 6 spd wit 40k on it. hes only asking $2800 cause it needs starter, alternator, ect. (thus, its a long block)
1. is this goin to be a good powerplant to work with?
2. and will i be a pain in the *** to work with? like am i goin to do alot of custom work or can i just buy k20 and k24 parts
thanks, and im goin to post this in other sections too.

why? Also, why not just go itr or boost a gsr. for 7-8k you can make WAY more power than a k.

because in the long run a k series is better. they have less miles, easier to find a good engine, a 6 spd lsd, and the i-vtec. plus i have the patients, time and money.
