$316 . would you have to get it welded on to be installed?

how much for install (estimate)?

if i'm gonna spend $316, should i just shell out a few more hundred and get full exhaust?

Just spend the extra $125 and buy the Apexi WS. It looks almost stock and just has a little more grunt. I love mine.

I think that 316 is a little much just for a muff and i dont believe that any welding is needed. Stock muffler will unbolt and then bolt up the new HFP one. If your just looking to get more sound why not by a universal muffler from flowmaster or something similiar or search around here for a used HFP one. Personally I would spend the extra cash and get a full cat-back like A'PEXi N1.

get a full cat back, the HFP is a waist of money IMO. but the HFP bolts right up in minutes. if you want a mean sound LSD for the 4dr is great but thats JMO!

what is LSD? limited slip differential, hondamanforlife?

I like the fact that i don' thave to take it in to get welded, etc.

cnyej1, so have you compared it to the sound of the HFP one? the apexi WS is just a muffler?

I'm really only looking for sound here. hehe

also, I would imagine getting an exhaust installed will be at least $200 or so in labor on top of the $5-600.

I believe LSD is the brand of exhaust/muffler he is talking about. Dude, just get a cat-back. Look around and you can find some good cat-backs for like 500-600 bucks. You will get a lot meaner sound than just the HFP and it's only a couple bucks more. Also, even though you aren't looking for a power adder, you gain some hp from a cat-back, while you gain none from the HFP. And, most cat-back systems bolt right up to your stock cat. You don't need any welding, and you really need to take it to a shop, as long as you have a jack, some jack stands and a wrench.

an exhaust only costs like 100 bucks to get installed or your getting ripped. if your looking for noise mainly, just punch a bunch of holes in your muffler, down pipe, etc. you half-*** everything else, why not.
