Why would anyone not put a clearcoat on there car? You wanna see flat or matte cars?

Not really, I just painted an RSX-S blue the other day and it looked really good matte blue before I put on the clear. I will post pics when I get my camera back.

SS has clear coat, its just already mixed in. He is describing un-cleared base, but we all know he really means a flat or satin finish.

stop being a dumb ****, it has CC mixed in.

to the OP: BC has no protection what so ever, why do you want a finish without the clear coat?

if you want a matt or flat finish, you can get low gloss/flat CC or dulling agent

basecoat itself might look ok ( if your into that ) but wouldnt the sun breakdown the paint quickly bc there would be no UV protection. as apposed to using a flattening agent in the clear ?????

thats because the clear is in there already. its not just base. base alone would wear off, scratch off, wash off, etc. etc.
