This is freaky!... the same F'n thing happened to me today... I felt a strange hesitation and said that is weird... then as the engine got warmer it got worse.... sitting in traffic I had to play with the throttle to keep the car running.... Was the CEL flashing at first.... mine was... I was affraid to come to a complete stop and restart the car... so I restarted on a roll incase I needed to jump it... the CEL then went solid.... Got home... turned off the car and the car restarts fine but the CEL is still solid and idles like ****.... So I have seen several posts about this issue so far... I have 1997 ITR #40... 37Kmiles NO MODS... perfect condition.

SO... What is it.... Is it the ECU?... What do I do next.

Miss "R" is sick....!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!

Code was 73 = misfire in the 3rd bank.... I had given Miss R a bath and washed under the hood... well water got in under the spark plug shield and in through the #3 spark plug boot... hole... tube... thingy... ANY WAY! that caused a short hence my CEL. So, while I was at it I changed the rotor cap and the rotor... And got new plugs... The NGK Irridium... Are the Irridium plugs o.k.? I had 3 guys at Super Autobacs swear by these plugs.

What are your thoughts...

Thank you for the help! Miss R is happy! PEACE OUT!
