2004 Civic headlight probs
FYI, I did try and do a search before I started this thread. If there is one thing I know, that is to use the search button before asking stupid questions... Now for my stupid my question.
My girlfriend owns a 2004 Civic LX. She has been having problems with the headlight bulbs burning out. First it was the passenger side. Then it was the driver side. Now her passenger side doesn't work again. This time I looked at it, and the bulb is fine. For the heck of it I tried the driver side bulb in it, and it still doesn't work. I checked the fuse, and the relays with no luck. They are both fine. Now I'm thinking it's the ballast. However her brights do work. Are there any kind souls out there that think they could solve this problem? If there are any, I would very, greatly appreciate it.

so we're running HID pnp kit on this thing I'm assuming from the words "ballasts" and "relays"...
Ballast could be bad imo. using my logic skillllz
1.) check relay / check fuse. Check OK.
2.) Check pass bulb ?
3.) tried driver's bulb, doesn't work.
deduction: bad ballast to ignite.
*my other advice for you, these issues with pnp hid kits can be resolved by switching back to your OEM halogen bulbs

I'll have to check for corrosion. It's just that I live in Wisconsin, and it's about -20°F with the windchill. My hands get to hurting pretty fast. The salt and slush may have caused some by now.(corrosion)

I don't really know much about this, so I will assume if she has stock halogens then there are no ballast's.

I live in Wisconsin as well, just as a side note. And, yes, the weather recently has been utterly ridiculous.

The weather is a bit ridiculous.
So here's the update. I unplugged the bulb again to inspect the connector. I did not notice any corrosion, but did give it a good scrubbing. I wiggled it around a bit, and still no luck. What are all the components between the switch, and the bulb? I figured it would just be some wire, a fuse, and a relay. So what else is there? By the way, thanks for your help guys.
Cheers!
