can i use shifter from other hondas?

Default can i use shifter from other hondas?

im thinking of doing this because im not much of a fan of short shifter. i been gearing you can mod the gsr shifter to fit but not enough talk on whats needed. anybody with experience with this matter.

im using a shifter arm from a 2000 integra in my 1989 civic with no modifications whatsoever.

Do you have a short shifter now and you dont like it. Or do you just want a new shifter.

i sold my old b&m shifter and went back to stock but want something more in the means of oem

Ive heard of many people cutting and re-welding oem ones to their own taste, but im not sure thats what YOU want. I personally like the Hurst shifter set for the civic/crx.

i heard of the hurst shifter being cool also. i just have heard the gsr shifter feels great and shifts nicely is what i want.
