I would like to know of the best place to purchase ITR lma's. Obviously the dealer would be the best place, but I contacted both the Honda and the Acura dealer(s), and they both don't have any reference to the Integra Type R. I guess it's just my location and their small inventories as compared to distant dealerships with larger inventories. I would also like to know of the best year model ITR to get these lma's from.

Please let me know. My 1st gen b16 is ticking itself to death. LOL

This is a sale for one set of 8 units of brand new genuine Honda Acura Civic Integra B16A B18C SiR GSR Prelude H22A DOHC VTEC Lost Motion Assemblies LMAs from Honda Motors, Japan. It will fit any non-Type R B-series and 92-98 H22A-series DOHC VTEC cylinder head. This PCB-305 'open spring' type Lost Motion Assembly has officially superceded the 14820-P30-010 'cylindrical cased' type Lost Motion Assembly.

The PCB-305 lost motion assembly in the picture above is one out of the eight units you will get.

 

I made a thread a while back about the new style LMA's replacing the older units. IIRC, Master of the Universe did a test a while back that confirmed the ITR LMA's were the same as all the late model LMA's , except that had the cool blue dot.

Just to be clear, the ITR LMA is 14820-P73-J01

It use to be, but they are discontinued and now superceeded by the new spring type LMA's

 

I just called Acura Carland and they said the warehouse has plenty of the 14820-P73-J01 LMA's in stock. Now it could very well be that what he is really seeing is the spring type and not know it. His records do not show it being discontinued.

Also, on the new style, this part bothers me:

 

the computer cross reference is pointing to the new lma's and showing those in stock. all the parts guy knows is he put that number in and shows parts available....they should be the new spring type.

 

So to be clear you are saying the part highlighted in red, even though it says not for a Type-R motor, is what I'll get if i order the 14820-P73-J01 LMA's? That just doesn't seem to make sense.

 

That's a mistake. The 14820-PCB-305 will fit a type R head. I run the Pr3 00 Si head and that's what I use. Order the 14820-PCB-305 part number and you'll get the correct parts.

 

Just looked and the spring type LMA is also ues in the NSX. Same part number.
