Default WHATS THE LARGEST FMIC ON A EK WITHOUT CUTTING BUMPER

OK I have a top mount t4 turbo that has made 600 whp on my EG.Now Im going to take out the swap and put it on my 00 ek hb But I have a spearco big intercooler 32x10.5x3 So my Question is will this fit my ek using custom 2.5" intercooler piping and not have to cut up my bumper. Also can i retain my stock foglights also. Thanks in advance.

that ic you listed will not fit without modification due to height. on my ek i run a precision 600hp 31 1/2" L x 8" H x 3 1/2" D with 2.75" in/out and it's a very tight fit. i still have my fog lights and my bumper support and no cutting to the bumper cosmetic wise. i did take off the lip on the inside on the bumper grill to clear the ic. i did have cutom pie cut 2.5" ic piping in and out with reducer couplers to fit for it, only notching the lower mount portion of the bumper support mounts to work with the fog lights. i'll take some pics later and post them if you want to see how it worked for me. looks real clean, i made it my choice to remove the bumper grill even though didn't have too.

it depends on if you are willing to sacrifice. 32" is about maximum width to still run fogs with custom piping. you can do a taller ic but will sacrifice front end collision safety from severe notching or removal of the impact/support bar to allow airflow to the covered portion of the ic. my car is a street car so that is definitely out of the Q for me. i measured it out multiple times and this is what fit best and handled higher power. i dont have a pic with the support on, but will post some of the ic setup on.
