Default Pro 1's in a stock block h22a!

so im planning on doing an h2b build and i will be using skunk2 pro1's, full valvetrain ect. Now i will be using a stock block. Will i have enough compression to get the most of of the pro 1's? If not i was thinking maybe a thinner head gasket could help a little bit. And this will all be on 93 octane.

evidently you are the tuner you tell us.

ill say if you are running a usdm motor you will not have enough compression to utalize those cams to their fullest potential. if you have plans of raising the compression id say go for it. when i talked to skunk2 they told me that if i didnt get the compression closer to 11 i should take it a step down and get the s2s2's. im running the jdm h22 btw.

The more CR the better. The Pro1's have made good power on stock block H22's but would obviously make more with higher CR.

While I will agree that they would like more compression, they will be fine on the stock jdm block.

There are quite a few dynos of the pro1s on stock blocks laying around. . .

FWIW- I will be running pro1s on my stock block as well

get some flat valves (or not) and get the pro 1's. the 10.6 will be good enough
