most coilover do the job when it comes to dumping the S I dont know why you would want to have it super super low. but hey you can allways put it on airbags.

taking out the helper spring isnt a issue, Usually coil overs will have 2 ***** you turn to adjust, you can usually take off the bottom locking one as when the car is dropped, the coil over wont move at all with the cars weight on it, that alone can net you a extra .5" usually. Either way most as said do the job fine, there are alot of thigns yo consider when slamming a S, so look into it. May I suggest buddy club for the dump though!

hmm. ok.
Buy a cheapo coilover with a fully threaded body. Go on ebay. Find the CHEAPEST full coilover with a fully threaded body...and you will be able to go super low. They work just like the more expensive ones...but they're WAY FREAKING CHEAPER.
I'm serious.

Make sure you buy two sets of those el cheapo coilovers. So when the first ones fail on you, you'll have the 2nd set right there on hand.

You think this guy is going to the track, though? I think a lot of owners just slam the **** out of the car without any regard to proper geometry. Those people are also probably uninterested in the track.
Look thru the picture thread.

well...the thing about the cheapy coilovers is that the ride SUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKSSSSSSS AAAAASSSSSSSSSS usually. If you want to save money now, you will most likely spend it on a chiropractor later in life. Or you'll notice that your girlfriend suddenly towers over you...and that you can no longer dunk on her. How emasculating.
There are nice riding coilovers that can lower the freak out of your car simply because they are full body adjustable, but look to spend some $$.
The reason I said cheap **** before is that since your suspension geometry is going to be so wacked out, the car will handle like **** anyway. Maybe you can find a cheapo coilover with softer spring rates so the cheapo dampers can keep up. However, cheap *** coilovers usually come with some WAY too high spring rate.
My KWs aren't fully adjustable, but they're short enough of a body and well enough damped that you can lower the hell out of the car and stay within the shock's optimal range. On their "lowest recommended" setting, my car was way too low. Way too low for me...is....pretty freaking low.
Here are some shitty pics to demonstrate. The back is right at lowest recommended height. The front is a little higher than lowest recommended. I haven't driven the car in a few months..so it's dusty. My garage is freaking filthy from the sand/salt they put down in my neighborhood.

Again, if you want ride quality, comfort, handling, and slammedness all in one.....look to pay some $$$$$$. These retail at $2300. I bought them brand new for $1600...because that's how I roll. So maybe you can find a deal also.

What he is trying to say is that you own a s2000, dont put shitty quality parts on it. I paid $1600 for my coil overs as well and I can slam with ease and rides great still, Well as great as spring rates that stiff will do with stiff settings on my suspension
Well im gona get Tein RA's I know they are costy but hell i spent $1200 on H&R coilovers for my Volkswagen so now im spending $1500 for the s2000 seems far to me
I rocked km'w on my dub a few years ago
Slammed and I had to cut into the frane to get that low in the front and certainly remove front sway bar

LOVED the car, hated everythign else about it lol, NEVER again would I own a dub!

Check the spring rates. Teins are often too low or too high of a rate.

I love mine your problem was that you got a mk4, in my opinion the Volkswagen scene is just better then the Honda scene in terms of the people you meet and the shows slash parties

Well if Rolex's were made in China then maybe it would be easier to believe?
Bottom line is both coilovers are made in Taiwan, and I doubt you have any proof that they aren't the same, nor that one is better than the other.

I believe that they are rumored to be the same as the APEX'i EX-V. Which is like the lowest of the APEX'i line. I'm not trying to put you down or anything, but the higher end APEX'i line is nothing like the megans in terms of quality or flexibility.
You get what you pay for, IMO.
