Default Which sway bar is right for me?

I'm going to be picking up an ASR brace and sway bar soon but I'm not sure which one I want. It's between an itr/ctr 22 or 23mm or the ASR 24mm. The car is daily driven and taken back and forth to college etc. with GC coilovers 380lbs front and 280lbs rear and KYB AGX shocks, but I may get yellows this summer $$ permitting. I run as many autox's as I can in the summer though so it will get used. Is the ASR going to be too much or are my spring rates soft enough that it will be ok for daily driving? There isn't a huge difference in pricing so that's not much of an issue. So if you've had these setups and can help me out it would be great, I didn't find a whole lot of posts about the 24mm bar when I searched. Thanks.

well first off your spring rateas are way too soft, even if you bump your shocks to full stiff you'll really perform poorly. I've had the GC (ots rates) with kyb agxs and ride quality (slammed 2.5inchs all around) was great, but really lacked handling performance. Even with the bigger rear sway in the rear, you'll probably be out performed by a car with higher spring rates with a much smaller rear sway.

I'd go with the 23mm rear sway

Thanks for the reply man. What's everyone else think? The spring rates are too soft for autox but I did ok with em this last summer, and they do daily pretty well. There was quite a bit of body roll obviously with no rear sway and those spring rates but I finished 18 out of 50 people overall in an event on Kumho Ecsta SPT's last summer which I didn't think was bad for my first year not on race rubber. I'm just hopin the rear sway will cut down on body roll and give it a little more rotation.

a bigger rear sway will def. help in body roll

you should have a set of azenis laying around for auto-x weekends, the spt's are a great performing tire but azenis are a cheap substitute for stickier tires.

18/50 isn;t too bad at all, what kind of cars were you up against? were they mostly stock?

Yeah I'd like to get some better tires for this year but we'll see. http://www.sccsiouxland.org/results.html August 4 on the results sheet is the one I was talkin about I'm Zach, they weren't stock. The DA below me was on RA1's with a GSR swap and you can tell by the classing a lot of them had stuff done. The important thing though is I have a blast, I can't wait for this summer already.

i've never been to a auto-x before so i wouldnt know but do they put you in certain categorys depending on mods? or is just on time alone? If its just on time alone, you beat alot of quick cars.

It's based on classes. A stock corvette won't be in the same class as a stock civic, same case as modified ones in the case of smaller mods. But in the case of big mods such as engine swaps will put you in a class like I'm in street mod, which sucks cause evo's and sti's etc. can get into it so I'm screwed cause of the swap lol. Wish I knew more about autox before I did the swap, but oh well it's fun haha.
