Default How big rear sway bar on an EJ6....is too big bad ?

I heard that going to big on the rear sway bar is bad, like 32mm for example...
I just want the absolute best handling possible, which sway bar should I get and how big? Would good tires eliminate the oversteer understeer problems, or whichever it is?

What about the ITR sway bar, would that be a good choice? Its like 22m or 23m depending on USDM or JDM right? Not really sure...

Help

Anything over 20mm needs reinforcing unless you have a Type R (any of them)

Get a CTR (22mm) or ITR (22mm or 23mm).

Don't get a 32mm bar. They're ******* INSANE, road-race only basically.

Have you ever looked at a 32mm hollow bar?

They're for track use only, your car will become nigh unstreetable. They completely neutralize any understeer. Your rear end will be one solid unit that will not flex except under extreme situations.

If you don't know why you shouldn't use one, then your car isn't hardcore enough to use one.

it's unsafe, and when you run 118 octane on the street its expensive.

Suspension doesn't alter the octane needs of your engine.

Go with an ITR bar, or companies like Mugen and Cusco make them in 25-26mm, but I wouldn't even recommend that for the street.

you should probably learn and understand what these terms actually mean, and how they effect your car before messing with your suspension...

on a fwd car for the best neutral handling you want a big rear sway bar, or stiff rear springrates...and if you read ASR's website the 32mm hollow bar is the same stiffness as the 26mm mugen bar, but on like they said above, 22-23mm will be fine for street
