Default Problem with Headlights

I have a 95 Accord and my problem is my driver side headlight for some reason I cannot explain the light it emits well it does not light the road at all it just light and then I cannot see anything on the road its kinda like its too spread all around.

The passenger side I can see the light coz. it has a spot on the road and its to my right, I checked both sockets and voltage and the driver side has 12.3v and the passenger side has 12.2v so I now that there is power there.

I even tried one of those headlight lens cleaner thing and the result is the same, I am thinking of removing the headlight it self and open it up and clean the inside of it the reflector and all the inside of the headlight.

Is there an easy way of opening the headlight so I can clean the inside and do you have any idea what is causing this problem?

I just change the bulb so I know its not that.

Are ur headlights aligned correctly? theres an adjustment screw on the housing, park with ur headlights on close to a wall/garage door and see if the drivers side is even with the pass. its a sealed headlight so ud have to melt the glue to get it open (big pain in the ***)

I was on the highway last night (1am) trying to adjust my lights, when I unplugged the pass side the only thing I saw on the driver side is spread beam cannot see anything on the road.

That is why I want to open the headlight and maybe something wrong with the reflectors and clean them up.

Now the oven thing heat up, does it work, is there a chance that my plastic will be screwed by the heat of the oven?

What's this about ovens? Don't put your headlights in the oven! It will be messed up if you take the headlight apart to clean the reflectors. You won't be able to re-seal it correctly and it will get condensation inside the housing. Try aligning them, and if that still doesn't work then just get a new headlight.

open it up.. its not hard, place it in a preheated oven on 300 for 5-7min. i placed my headlight clear plastic side down on top of a cookie sheet. took it out. waited 30 sec so it was not too hot than slowly pried the glue apart.. SEARCH im sure there is a diy w/ pics or something

there should not be anything wrong with the reflectors, nor should they be dirty if the headlight has never been opened. check to make sure the bulbs are in the retainers correctly, and then try aligning the lights.

I put the headlight in the oven for like 5-6 minutes and that open it. Upon close inspection of the 2 low beam reflector I found out that the driver side is way off so I adjusted it and its ok. now. much better than before.
