Default intake manifold

what is the best intake manifold for the best throttle responce and power. for a b16. i like the sheet manifolds but i cant find them any were.

its hard to say what the over all best manifold is but almost every aftermarket intake manifold for the b16 is nothing more than a itr manifold with an after market badge on it in fact ive heard that skunk 2 makes their manifolds directly from the original honda blueprints for the itr of course the sheet metal ones are a different story but most of them dont come already pre-drilled for your sensors if youre lazy like me jus go pick up a decent manifold from any reputable company good luck with your search

If you searched on here at all you would have seen that the STOCK b16a manifold is the best for what YOU are looking for. Sheet manifolds are for all out race motors. Even a type R manifold will cause you to lose power on your motor without the right combination of supporting mods.

With what? Solvent? Good deal. Always good to clean a head before installing it.

To the o.p. - save yourself some $$ and horsepower and stick with the IM you have. What are your current mods/budget? Have any mechanical skills.

skunk2 built head will have in a couple weeks from the machin shop. nx direct port 90 shot. arp rod bolts and main bolts. password whale *****. itr header. yes mechanical skills for 5 years
