I own more than a few hondas, and an acura integra ls, with the auto trans. It has the b18a1 engine, and I have an opportunity to get an acura legend with a 2.7 v6 and with an auto as well for three hundred bucks, the shifter looks different, but it seems to have the exact same functions, with the switch to engage sport driving, I have this in the Teggy as well, but the trans is fried, no gears, so I am wondering if I can swap the legend trans into the integra . . . these seem to be very undesirable trannies, but the driver does not care, and I dont really want to go through the swap issues of putting a clutch in it.

is it by chance, the same tranny?


Ok that was answered on another forum, and no, so since it is a B series engine, can I use a 5 speed crx trans? from a 1.5?

no plain and simple . the legend and rl use a front diff with to supply the drive to the front wheels.
