Default 15x8 wheels for an EF?

I am looking to get my first set of custom wheels, Im bored with other popular styles, looking get a set if 15x8 widened steelies, does anyone know what offset and backspace I would need for my EF, also what tire size would I need?
my fenders are already rolled if that helps

I want them to look like these, similar tire size, but different color paint

I am using the car for track days and nice daily driving in the summer.
I also would need a recomendation on tire brands and sizes. (high performance, dry, summer only)
I would like to get as deep of a lip as possible without making any major changes to the body or running into any other problems

I would also consider 15x7,16x8 or 16x7.

Thanks for any info and help

15X8 are too wide for 195/50-15 which is the right size for your EF (92-95 civic?).

I would recommend you read the FAQ, there is a section on tire selection that explains the steps and what you should be considering. It is really well written.

that is what Im running into, Im getting different opinions from different people and its getting me more and more confused, I think I need to go with a 15x7 +35. Im looking for a deep lip for the look but still want it functional for track events. would a 14x8 work? I dont have my heart set on x8's Im up to suggestions but I figure that x8's would help on getting the deep lip look.

wow those steelies are sweet, what are they off of? But just look at the wheels they look like the offset is not going to fit. They look like they may be a +0 or +15. I think some VW's have 15x7 steelies that may have a better offset to fit you car.

they are ridestrt's wheels off of a scion xb but they are 13x8 I think, I can get the wheels custom made from the same place that he got them from, Im just trying to figure out which offset and wheel size that I need for my car. The company can make any offset I want.

15x7 will work for the 195/50-15 size you need. 14x8 is too wide, and there aren't many good tires available in 14" sizes.

The deep lip look really doesn't work on front-wheel-drive cars. If you really want that look, you may want to trade your car for a Mustang or other RWD car, where there's more room in the wheel wells for the offsets and widths that can accommodate the deep lip look.

I've seen people go with as much offset as +15 as on some of the sportmax wheels. They roll there fenders and have a lot of neg camber though. Otherwise most wheels that fit have +40 to +38 offsets.
