Default Fabricating Custom Parts

Hey guys, just wanted some opinions on some ideas i've got. Really been thinking about getting a rear upper strut bar and lower strut bar but I'm thinking maybe I could creat one. I'm currently a student in engineering and I've got a really good understanding of using a 3D CAD software called Solidworks. Was wondering if anyone has any idea's or suggestions on this as I don't know anyone on here who may of made one before. If so, does anyone have any dimensions or material type suggestions? It would be a simple hollow bar with two welded squares on the side pre-drilled for the holes. Then I would round off and paint it.

I was also considering just making up a license plate relocater or even one of those JDM air block plates that go under the front of the hood. I really don't see why they cost so much to begin with.

hmmmm making my own suspension parts is something i would never do, IMO there is too much going on there and i dont want to guess if that weld i made will hold. ASR subframe brace is better anyways... build something like that... it will actually be easier. The material most manufacturers use is t601?? i think aluminum.
