Default Drag Radial or Slick

Im looking for a tire to use at the track and track only. Im not sure what one to get. Also what size would you run and what is the best size rim to use. i was thinking a 16x8. is that too small or to wide. any info helps thanks.

if they're track only, then forget the drag radials.. they really compromise alot to be street legal. They're great if you need to drive to the track on them, but you won't get the same "hook" you do from slicks.

I can't help you with size, but I think I remember the member TRAG running 15" bogarts (don't remember what the backspacing was) I also think I saw some 16X8 slipstreams in the marketplace with slicks.

Maybe asking the drag racing forum would get you better answers.
