AEM fuel gauge reading incorrectly?
hey guys just a quick question.
On my B20 crx the previous owner has installed an AEM high flow fuel rail and the AEM fuel pressure gauge (there is no adjustable FPR, its using a stock Honda one)
now the gauge seems to have a mind of its own lol!
normally it will only show 20/22psi on it connected to a vac source.
remove the vac from it and plug the hose and it reads 30 (not 40 odd like the manual says)
the strrange thing is the fuel gauge seems to be half filled with a liquid? is this normal? should it be full etc? also today after a long hard drive it showed 30psi on the fuel gauge. once the car has been stood for a while it shows 0 (ie: the fuel system unpressurized etc)
the fuel filter looks filthy and old so i have a new one here going on tomorrow, i also have another OEM fuel pressure gauge sat here to try.
anything else i can check whilst i have no fuel pressure in the rail etc?
i think the gauge is faulty personally , but any other opinions would be great
thanks!
