How to adjust and determine fuel pressure with an aem fpr
Hello I want to install a aem adjustable fpr into my ek. I would like to run around 50lbs of fuel pressure. How do you know where to adjust the fpr to. It does not have a gauge or a port for a gauge. I know their fuel rail has a port for a gauge but I don't need a 100 dollar fuel rail. I thought about purchasing a b and m gauge setup that replaces the banjo fitting on your fuel filter but is there a better way?

What's wrong with this solution? The B&M gauge is inexpensive, easy to install, and it works, so it seems like an excellent option to me.

I was just wondering if there was another way. I guess aem wants you to buy their fuel rail to use with the fpr wether you need it or not.

I had a complete B&M FPR and gauge set for a while. I never have had a problem with the B&M and it is still on my car, although having the fuel pressure gauge on my car for about 6-8 months, it started reading higher and higher and i thought it was my regulator. I swapped it with a stock regulator and it still read like 80psi. The gauge was broken. I got a liquid filled gauge from Summit and havent had a problem since.
this is just my experience. I hav ea friend with the B&M set and has never had a problem.

The B&M FPR we installed in my brother's car works extremely well. Our tuner had no problems adjusting it when we took the car for tuning, and it's continued to function nicely ever since.
