That's not a full part number from Honda.

Honda part numbers are usually something like:

00000-Z00-000

0 = number
Z = letter

The first five numbers refer to the type of part or the system it goes to. Front lips start with one set, rear lips with another set, headlights with another set, etc.

The three characters in the middle usually refer to the model and body style of the car. So if you had S02, that can mean it's a Civic coupe part. S04 means sedan part and S03 can mean it's a hatch part. Meanwhile, S01 might just refer to the part being for any 6th gen Civic.

The last digits just narrow it to that specific part, and if there are one or two letters after those three digits, that would refer to a different color that part might come in. There would not be a hyphen between the last three digits I show and the letters that might follow those digits up. (Meaning the format would be more like 00000-Z00-000ZZ.)

If you can tell me the car this came on, I'll try to find you the Honda part number.

I think the differences are that one cover is a real jdm oem part and the other is a copy of it.

As far as I know, you're not going to find just the cover for the foglights from Honda.

Is it for a coupe/hatch or sedan front end? Your photos are down right now so I can't even see what they looked like.

The numbers stamped on Honda parts ARE NOT the part numbers btw. Some even have a similar layout to what I posted above (like lips and bumpers), but they're still not part numbers that you would find in the EPC or order through Honda. I believe they might be the part number that's assigned to the part by the company that makes that part for Honda.

Here are ALL the part numbers from Honda regarding foglights for a hatch. These part numbers are from the US though.

I have no idea if they'll be the color you what, the lense you want, etc. I doubt they're even still for sale since most accessories get discontinued soon after production of the car.

WIRE HARNESS, FOG LIGHT
08V31-SR0-30008

LENS, FOG LIGHT
