********speedometer freak out***********
so i turn my car on and it idles kinda low, when i try to let off the clutch and give it gas,the car moves but the motor shakes violently and the car dies out. i have no trouble starting it up and it is fine until i try to drive it. if i do happen to get it driving the speedometer jumps and so does the tach. WTF is going on?!?! has anyone had this problem??

Sounds like you might have a bad/loose ground, it contacts enough to run the engine, but when you try to drive it doesn't touch enough to let the engine run smoothly, it also explains the gauges jumping around.
