Default 9005 headlight conversion

i just finished doing the 9005 conversion on my accord w/ silverstars, someone before told me they burn hotter than normal halogens due to it usually being used for highbeams, thus blowing out faster, those of you that have done this, how long have you kept your car on before they blew out? how was your experience using these bulbs?

I've had mine in for like 3 months so far. No probs. Umm...aren't you supposed to really only do this conversion on cars with projectors? Isn't your accord going to blind people?

I have heard of people doing this on Accords and they say other people flash their brights at them all the time. I have had 9005's in my low beams for over a year now, zero problems.
