I was driving my car and it just cut off on me. The Alt. and Bat are good but when I put my key in the ignition I have no power. I've heard all kinds of bullcrap reasons to what the problem could be..

 

I had this once, for me it was one of the fuses, one in the engine bay. forget which one, but my mechanic friend hooked up his diagnostic computer to it and replaced some electrical thing in the engine bay. ?

 

Is your battery cables just getting loose every now and then

that happened to me before a few times and almost **** myself when it happened on the highway at night

 

Check your ignition fuse under the hood. Its a 50amp fusible link held in with 2 screws. That controls your ignition power....

Then check your grounds...battery to tranny ground,thermostat housing, etc.

Let me know and we can go from there

 

It's called the main relay I think, next to your passenger headlight

Try fuse 14 under the dash, it provides power to the alternator.
