My car started throwing the cel p1456. i know it has something to do with the fuel system but dont know exactly whats wrong. can anyone help me out?

 

you have a evap malfunction if its under warranty bring it to the dealer so they can mis diagnosis it and recommend a bunch of work that they woulnd't do on their own vehicle.

 

yeah well its not under warranty anymore...

ill have to fix it myself but dont know whats wrong with it

 

Did you make sure you clicked the gas cap three times? What are your mods?

yeah it on right. every time i reset it. it just comes back on. the only mods are aem intake.

 

i dont know how mechanicly inclined you are but you most likely have a bad evap solenoid. You can test them with the ignition on and provide ground with a test light to the solenoids. You should hear a click. As a good tip if it doesn't click it must be it.
