Default Valvoline Synthetic 10W30

I've been using Mobil 1 5W-30 since day one and love it, but it burns up rather fast in our R's, as I'm sure many of you already know. I'm thinking of swapping over to Valvoline synthetic 10W-30 to see if this lasts any longer. I'm just looking for feedback to see if anyone is using this in their R and what they think.
Thanks guys....

My dealer officially uses Valvoline (I am not sure if it's syntec though). He would service my car every 3000 mile with Valvoline until I recently started bringing my own Mobil 1 Trisynthetic 10W 30. Since I have switched (3rd oil change now) I can go 60 to 90 miles farther on a tank of gas. I can be sure it’s not a psychological thing because I drive to the east coast monthly about 750 miles one way and stop 3 or 4 stations farther from my normal stops
I recommended this to more that one friend and they all have noted engine response gains by switching TO Mobil 1 tri-syn.
I’m not saying that it’s the Mobil 1 that did this or maybe my friends’ cars (also Acuras) my have needed oil changes anyway, (or maybe they moved the gas stations closer ) but I made NO other modifications to the car or my driving style since the oil change and that is the result.
Just sharing my thoughts.

By the way..this is my 100th post...happy er...centenial to me..took me one year!!!

Thanks for the info man, I think I will stay with Mobil 1 but am gonna try movin up to 10w-30 from 5w-30. The 5w-30 burns up oil to quickly.

ok but you MUST switch back to 5W 30 in the winter. The 10W 30 doesn't pour below -7C that's why honda recomends 5W 30 all year. But 10W 30 is cool for summer. Check the chart in the owners manual under the oil recommendation change.
