I'm trying to eliminate as much wiring as humanly possible in my DX hatch. Needless to say the A/C is completely gone. I have come across these 2 relays mounted on the pass. side radiator support in front of the car. Sorry for the bad pics, they're from my phone...


There's a green connector on the other side as well and another connector there too. Is this all A/C related wiring? I'll get the wire colors when I get back to the garage, but it appears that the fan plug is on a separate loom. These wires go all the way back to the fuse box, then there is another set of wires that go into where the A/C lines were coming out. I haven't traced those back yet, but are those A/C related as well?

 

one of them is the condenser fan relay, the other is the A/C compressor clutch relay

 

ya you dont need those there for the a/c

 

It's all one harness, you can remove it if you no longer have A/C. It plugs into the underdash harness right underneath the blower motor.

oh so thats where the ac clutch relay is..thanks for this forum now i can wire my vtec up..but what one is the clutch relay?
