Turn signals blinking fast???
Not what your going to initially think.
I turned my car on the other day and my turn signals were blinking increadibly fast (twice the speed). So I thought "no big deal, it's just a burned out turn signal bulb", but I went to check and they were on. Every thing seems to be just fine, however I got this damn ricer blinking thing going on
. Can someone point me down the right direction please, cause all my lights are working just fine it seems...

haha "ricer blinking thing" ownz joo!!
no for real though I dunno much about electrical stuff to know the answer to your problem.
on a blinker side note, anyone know where I can find that thread that keeps the blinker BRIGHT at all times when turned on, not just when blinking?

Just check the wiring... almost the same thing happened last week with the GS-R I just bought my brother.... the guy who had it before had done some stupid stuff to the front signals... he only had one bulb for each side and then when we hooked up the secondary blinker and the light bulbs.. the left signal kept on blinking really fast, but he right blinker was fine.... it all turns out that the guy at the autoparts store sold the wrong light bulbs to my brother... he had given my brother the 1156 instead of the 1157...(not too sure about the part #s), but I know that it was just off by one and after we got the correct lights.. everything worked fine... but that wrong bulb caused a lot of problems... gauge cluster didn't light up properly... hazards didn't work correct... and other mysterious things.. but changed the bulb and everything was fine again....
Like 2 weeks before expo

Did you replace with a lower wattage bulb?
or maybe the filament went bad or there is a dirty connection which would result in less current flow.
Current draw through the relay will determine flash rate.

It's the same wattage...I noticed that there are two copper connections on the inside of the plug...could they possibly not connecting? What are both of the connections for...do they have indiviual purposes?
Take the UK spec bulbs out, put the stockers in and see if you still have the prob......if you have not already.....
Ps.....I'll prob have those threads done for ya friday....

Well, looked into helms a little more and realized that there is a relay associated with the turn singals and hazard unit. They cover a couple of tests that are propably worth trying. There are three prongs on the relay and each have a purpose, so it is possibly a relay issue. We'll check and see more on whats going on...let you know soon.
BTW - EAGLER thanks for the advice, but I ditched those chitty euro spec bulbs...they are really cool, but would rather have the euro connect for the euro bulb! That's much better than dremeling off teeth and crap!
