Default Help w/H22 Bottom end build, which Crank? Also which oil pump?

I'm going to be building up my 93 JDM H22A motor. It's the solid deck design. I would prefer using the stock sleeves but if necessary I will re-sleeve. I want the motor to be reliable as it's going in an everyday driver.

I'm not sure which crankshaft I should choose; H22,H23,F22,F23

I want the engine to make good torque but I would also like a decent rod to stroke ratio therefore allowing the motor to rev.

I've noticed a lot of spun center main bearings with the H23 cranks, I'm wondering if they have an oiling issue?

The earlier F22's use the same crank as the h23's but the later ones have a different part#. I wonder if they're stronger? I was thinking maybe to offset grind and use a b-series rod.

With the F23 crank I'm not even sure if the mains are the same size as my early H22 block but I've heard of people using it in H22 applications. Anyone know any details?

I know the material on an H22 stock crank is extremely strong, I'm wondering if I should modify this one or not mess with what works.

Can I get some suggestions, anyone know of a strong combination that won't need a crazy budget?

Thanks in Advance.

Read this thread: https://honda-tech.com/topic/1693/?hl

If you can acomplish what Don is recomending you will not have any problems getting the engine to last.

Also i chose to use an H22 crank over the H23/F22. Looking at them side by side there is no question which one is more stout, also Don's recomendation. The F23 crank does not fit in an early H block with out serious modifacation

Which oil pump would be a good choice? I would like a modified honda unit along the lines of an Endyne. Can anyone guide me on where to purchase one or are any other brands avaiable?
