What Ecu should i use for My Jdm f22b 4th Gen Prelude
hey. i have a Jdm f22b Dohc In my prelude right now. and its throwing a CEL on me because of the Ecu. I currently have a P14 Which is for H23 that requires Knock on the engine. The F22b does not require one so the ecu is looking for the knock which it does not have. Should i get the P39 which is for 92-95 OBD-1 JDM Accord SOHC VTEC (F22A) ?? that ecu does not require a knock sensor and i heard it works for the Jdm f22b.
Why not just plug in the knock sensor and tie it out of the way somewhere in the engine bay? Seems a bit cheaper and easier....
where should i install the knock sensor? you cant install one in the jdm f22b. they dont have one. do you mean by drilling and welding a blank nut on it?

Well no, I said 'plug it in and tie it away somewhere', meaning remove it from the H23 and just bolt/zip-tie it to the firewall somewhere so you can still plug it in. It won't sense any knock of course, but you shouldn't have a CEL.
