Default '97 Accord auto tranny - is there a filter or just the "strainer"

I am new to Accords. On our '83 240 Volvo the AT has a filter and on the '84 Caravan there is an AT filter. I have changed them as the severe service specs say. However, with the '97 Accord I only see (in the factory service manual) how to change the ATF. How about the filter? In the teardown I only see an ATF strainer. What to do? Ignore the strainer and just change the ATF?? Thanks

There is no serviceable filter in the 94-97 Auto transmission.

Just drain/refill the fluid 3 times and you should be good.
