Solution B) I'm guessing that it means that the heating elements inside of the oxygen sensor have failed. 02 sensors have this heating element to help them get up to proper operating temperature quickly in cold weather. A new 02 sensor should fix it. However, the heating element being out is only really going to affect the first few minutes of driving when it's cold out, so if you do just pull the bulb and not worry about it, it won't be a big deal. You could also check the wires going to the 02 sensor/sensors. There should be 4 wires, one is the ground, one is the signal wire, and two will be for the heating element. Whichever two are the same color are the heater wires.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I don't think the JDM cat has a O2 sensor in it. I believe it is a temperature sensor.
