Default got a big dent?

I saw on you tube this guy take a dent out with a hair dryer and a can of key board cleaner the title is "Car Dent Removal with Hair Dryer and Compressed Air." Check it out. I have never seen it done so its new to me

there is discussion on this forum about dent removal using dry ice, the dryer & compressed air method, and all sorts of stuff.....

if you think about it as metal having molecules, i think i spelt that right, anyways, when you heat metal, it expands, when you make it cold it shrinks. when you heat it then cool it off really fast, it usually makes the metal "pop" back into place. a lot of times when you have a really bad dent in a car, one that needs bondo, guys will take a tourch to it then throw a wet rag on it to shrink it. same principle. just depends on how big the dent is

That method makes the metal "shrink", its a fix to metal that oil cans after being beat back into shape.

dry ice only wrks on small dents it cause the metal to expand/contract really fast, ive heard ib bigger dents it just causes more headaches

what do you guys think about doing this on small door dings that you can only see from certain angles? think they will go away?
