light bulb blew h3

Default light bulb blew h3

i installed a brand new hyper yellow h3 stage1 light bulb with 70w the reason i bought a new one was because the one i had burnt up and today i was installing the new and when i went to turn on the head lights it blew the light bulb completely anyone knows why this happened

Could be many reasons. You could have touched the bulb, water, short or defective bulb is some of the things that come to my mind.

H3 is an inexpensive bulb to make (I had one bulb that the posts that hold the filament detached from the glass and it wasn't even installed on a car) so instant failure can happen...
