Default how to install 95-96 digital gauge panel in 92-94 si model help please!!!!

yo whats up been a while since i been on here....i have 92 prelude just got Honda Prelude Instrument Gauge Panel 1996 and trying to install i see my harness is not for that panel is it any other way for me to do this or no? please help even if not can anybody point me in the right direction? thanks

You need to get the 94-96 harness or you have a lot of rewiring on your hands.

yea just go to your local junkyard and get the entire gauge cluster harness for the 94+ model aling with the dimmer. i bought mine from the junkyard WITH the cluster for 30 bucks and it was SOO much easier than having to rewire...everything pretty much plugs in and all you have to do is ground one wire on the pass side.

what number? the $30 that I gave them for the harness and cluster is where i came up with that number...

wow so looks like i have to rip out the dash and change the dash harness huh? oh well i will be ordering it soon but i called my junk yard and wow no preludes at all. is ripping out the dash hard? because my homeboy pulled his out and it took him a while he said.

no you dont have to rip out the dash...the harness goes behind the cluster and the fuel/temp gauge and down to the fusebox in the driver side footwell...its really easy to remove the harness.

wow does not look like that but yeah. i got tthe harness from ebay for 18.99 when everybody else on ebay say 150 i was like damn hell nah. but i am going to try and do it can you give me a simple walk through of how to pull it out without removing the dash? if so thanks if not still thanks anyways i am more of an engine swap motor build guy. thanks again
