Default I think my brakelight switch went bad!

Ok, this is actually my girlfriends car.

Its a 95 EX Auto...well when she goes to put it into drive from park it does nothing. Its blocked out.

So I found out that the brake lights aren't working either, preventing the thingy from going down to get into drive.

I all fuses checked out. But it does this randomly..It was fine for a majority of today, but all of a sudden the brake lights quit working again. It has been going on for the last couple of days.

Is this most likely the brake light switch?

My bros brake light switch was just replaced on his GTI Golf, it was right at the pedal, $30 piece just unplug and I think it was two bolts and put the new one on. Honda should be similar I would think.

You don't have to drop the column just follow up the pedal arm and your going to see the switch its a little bit of a tight fit but you can manage.
