Default 90-93 Accord Automatic Transmission Noob Question

Ok I have a 1991 Honda Accord Ex with an Automatic Transmission....basically when I put it into 1, 2, D3, or D4 it rolls forward and then makes awfully loud clunking sounds and then stops suddenly almost like hitting a brick wall and I mean hard!!! sometimes after that i push on the gas and it doesnt go anywhere!!! then when put it into reverse clunking sounds continue but it doesnt stop.....only in forward do I get this sudden lock-up and its only on the passenger side front wheel....could this be my transmission?..It seems the CV axles are good so Im not sure!...Ive also considered the wheel bearings but I dont think they could stop your whole car..could they?..........pls help I might just replace everything since it is now a project car to me..thanks

i think its the tranny
check the ATF level first, at the same time check if it smells burn(good ATF should have clean red colour)

if the level is gd but smells burn or ATF is dirty black
do a multiple drain/fills w/ Honda Z1 or Dex III (Dex III is the replacement of Dex II)

for f22bx tranny
the whole tranny hold 6.3qts
each time u can drain 2.5qts(40%)

I did some math
if u want old fluid level less than 5%
u have to do 6 time drain/fill

this pdf file show you how to do multiple drain/fills

yeah the fluid level was perfect but did smell a little burnt...so I drained it all out and refilled according to your chart and instructions a few times not 6 though.. still no change...i was hoping this would remedy the problem but I think it lies deeper than that...front right tire is still locking up...thanks
