Default Where can I buy a motor I want online?

i have a 93 eg dx w/ the stock d15b7 getting close to 200k. one engine prob seems to come up one after the other these days as i strive to maintain it. i'm going to do a swap but im still looking around. i plan on putting in a swap but leaning towards a b16 or h22, because prices come similar for both(sometimes, depending on where to look). the junkyards around my area don't have very many honda options. hondas seem more scarce around here anyway. and if i do the swap, i'd love to buy the whole package all together instead of delaying the work because i have to shop hop around for certain parts like axles and mounts. if anyone knows where i can get a great deal for what i want please list the sites. and the sites should probably be trusted sellers for the most part. also please list any sites that most people here have gotten their motors from if they bought from online. most people here have helped me a lot so far so i appreciate it.

here's a list of sites i have visited and currently know of:

JDMSpeedLab.com
I got a B16A from them and the engine was mint. Only problem was they sent the wrong ECU and I had to wait to get it, but I had time so it wasn't a big deal. Great engines, great prices.

hmotorsonline.com they are local to me and I know plenty of people who buy from them. Plus my GF got me jdm 1pc headlights for my DA awhile back. Definitely a good source for jdm motors and parts.

I got my h22 from streetimports.com they sell a complete swap kit but the mounts are crap, axles are ok , also you have to request the shift linkage and shifter when you order it or you wont get it, the motor & trans are great though. My buddy got a b16 from hmotorsonline.com and had no problems with it, and i think they have it where you can add in hasport mounts and axles on most of their stuff for a bigger price,, id prob go with them if doing another swap just to get the higher end parts without having to shop around.

i was looking at the h22 that hmotors has up saying that it includes their axles but will opt for the civic ones like mine. so will they just switch them out or do i have to pay more for them to do that?

yeah if you go with their axles they just wont give you the axles that come with the h out of the prelude or whatever vehicle it came from, no extra charge there, if you get the hasport axles with your swap its an extra 275 dollars.

Yeah, I haven't dealt with Hmotors for an engine, but if I was planning on engine shopping I would definitely go with them. Its just not worth the risk going with other people. An engine is just as important as an entire vehicle. The last thing you want is to finish dropping the engine into your car and find out theres a catastrophic problem. Hmotors guarantees that their engines will startup. Not to mention that they include the FULL swap. So no searching around for parts. Can't beat that online.

The only better option would be to find someone here on HT who is selling a motor still in the vehicle it came in. Then you can test drive it and see how the vehicle it came with was taken care of before you decide to purchase it. Thats what I did

yea its all good. i think i might buy from them. been doin some research on the h22. is it true i would have to relocate some things on the firewall like the brake m cylinder? and would i have to do some cutting to really make room for the crank pulley? i know i would have to cut a hole for the shift assm and cables
