140+db's VS Honda Fit airbags??
I recently bought a 2008 Honda Fit and am planning to do a pretty heafty stereo install. (RE XXX, 2000+w RMS, 4channel, RE components ect ect)
Does anyone know if I will have to be worried about any of my air bags going off with this kind of setup?
Thanks!

no, air bags work off de-accelleration. Unless your settup is going to speed your car up to speed and stop the car really quick your good to go.

More over they're an electrically controlled explosion and high dbs won't cause the electrical surge to ignite the explosive to pop the bag (works the same way a model rocket motor is set off)...

You don't have to worry about your airbags going off. The XXX's are nice drivers, but unless you're in the 150's (not going to happen in a daily setup with a single driver / no wall / etc.) and you happen to trigger the sensors in the car at the same time (deceleration, smash the bumper, etc), you don't have to worry about the airbags.
