So here's the deal. I'm buying a new car. a 1993 honda EX, 1.5 L, white with tan interior, light body damage, and 213,000. I'm buying it cash but I haver no Idea what this car is actually worth. So I need to know what all you honda buffs would buy this car for. Thanks for all the help.

with light body damage I wouldn't go more then 250 to 500 and that would only be if there was no rust in the rear quarter pannels. Seeing as how you are talking a 15 year old car now I don't think you are going to find one that isn't rusting out. oh and a few photos would help out a bit

 

without seeing any pictures so far... no more than $2800. maybe even no more than 2500. well.. i bought my 95 dx coupe with very minor body damage from the original owner for 550 with brand new tires and brand new tags.

was the motor swapped? Because the EX came with 1.6 D16z6 sohc vtec...

Thanks for the D16z6 bit. what options did the EX come with. It could be a DX.

 

i wouldn't spend more than $700 on it.

 

the ex's have power windows, doors, mirrors, a sun roof, and power steering. the dx's do not.

 

Ok. So the one I own now is an EX and that one i'm buying should be a EX too. So if the engine is a 1.5 that means that the 1.6 engine has been swapped out.good stuff to know right there
