ok one day i was driving and my car died. come to find out that the bolt that holds the rotor on in the dizzy came out and shoot into my ignition control module. so i replaced it. but ever since then my car has been acting funny at high rpms. in first gear it wont go past seven grand. second gear it sounds like it hits the rev limitor but the rpm needle shoots to 8 plus grand but my car doesn't acclerate to there. finnaly in third gear it goes up to seven grand then the rpms slow down but go up to 8 grand. my car was a gs before i did the swap. i have a p28 ecu with hondata s300. any help or things to check?

 

just a guess but it sounds like the igniter. tach jumps around and it has a bad hesitation?

need a voltmeter. my haynes manual tells how but its kinda long to explain. go get a haynes or chelton. i prefer haynes but its up to you.

 

i don't like Chilton right now cause i am still upset that they think its ok to group the Integra with the Legend and Vigor as if they have anything in common. those bastards at Chilton are gonna get a piece of my mind.
