kinda sounds like you may have a vacuum leak, maybe a vacuum line cracked or desconnected, or maybe intake mani gasket or throttle body gasket ripped or somethin...

--- L O L! I know there is a couple threads about installing a Skunk2 Mani properly. You could check that out and make sure you did everything down to spec. You might have just gone and screwed up on the installation.

Do this if you hear air being sucked in or blown out...

Grab a spool of thread (for like sewing and whatnot) and unwind it about 2 feet, but don't cut it. Now with your car running and you under the hood, hold the thread over different places of the manifold while holding the throttle open to where you can hear the "shh shhhhhh", but hold the spool tightly so it won't suck in too much thread. If the thread is sucked in a certain area, then you know that's where your leak is coming from. If it seems to blow the thread away at a certain point, then that is also a leak...good luck!

another way to check is with the car running take some starting fluid and spray it around the vaccum lines and ITM and if the idle jumps up thats where the leak is.

That's another reason you car may be lagging, vtec is not set at the best point and you're running an im that the stock ecu is not tuned for.

vtec kicks in really loud at 4800 rpm.. and it pulls hard when it reaches 6k rpm.. i found that today it was a vaccum leak i fixed my problem and now its runs like it use to be... A BEAST!!! muahha

They're located in Rancho Cordova. I don't know why their website says that they're in the Bay Area

If you think it pulls hard now, wait till you get a tune, the stock vtec cross over is too low for aftermarket cams. You'll feel a big difference once its tuned

so you're running a stock ecu with the s2 manifold and you think it pulls hard?

I doubt an untuned gsr motor w/ aftermarket cams and s2 IM will pull that much harder than a stock motor. If anything your car is probably slower now than before the mods w/o a tune. And what the hell are you thinking even going up against a modded ss camaro
