d2's ride great!! but k sports are literally the same exact thing. i checked my k sports out with a buddy's and they are exactly alike. after doing research we foudn this was true. One set is made in china and they sent here and just painted different colors by different company's....So the moral of this long *** post is k Sports r the same, but CHEAPER.

Triplerperformance.net has them for around 650 shipped. You could probably neg a price. the guy there repsonds to emails very quick. hope that helps..lol

Is there anyway to tell the difference between the new and old D2's? Heard the ksports were not as good and shocks fail alot on them. These are going on my daily driver.

Ksports and D2s are not the same shock.

yes the same company produces the parts but its the suspension companies who gives them specs on what to biuld.

Ksports blow up constantly do a quick search...you will find hunderds of pages of blown shocks do a d2 shock searc you may find a couple.

i had d2s on my crx for 2 years rode great loved it.

now those same D2s are on my EK hatch for about a year still rides amazing.

they are not the same! nto even remotely. go ahead buy those ksports i bet you if you track with them they will blow on you within 6 months.

Ksports are cheap for a reason...just becuase they look alike on the outsides does not mean the internals are the same.

i will never buy ksports specially since i have read 100s of pages of people with blown ksports within the year. I did my research and D2s do not blow or is very uncommon i ride the **** out of my car on the same D2s for 3 years with no problems.

once they fail im going to invest in some pic selects.

I'm going with the d2's. I have read too many posts about ksports blowing out. The price difference is not enough for the risk with what I've read about ksports.

Any suggestions on spring rates? I am running a b16 and the car is strictly for street, don't get to the track much and it's my daily driver.

i think d2s go lower then ksports. both are stiff as hell. i think you can find brand new ksports on here for 560ish shipped. i had ksports on my dd hatch and loved it. everyone else in my car hated it
