Default GSR rod bearing question.

I am freshening up my b18c1 for my JRSC. I clearly see the stamp on the block for the main bearing sizes, and the letters coincide with the colors on the bearings. What is throwing me off is the number 3 stamped on all 4 of the rods. I thought this is the bearing #, but I can only read 2 or the 4 colors on the bearings and those two are different colors. Any help apprieciated.

The letters on the block match with the numbers on the crankshaft to give you the recommended bearing color for the mains.

The letters on the crankshaft pair with the numbers on the connecting rods to give you the recommended bearing color for the rods.
