Default Hasport h22 crx questions

Im putting an h22 into a 91 crx using the hasport kit but the rear bracket on the engine doesnt seem like its going to fit. The engine needs to move an inch forward for the rear bracket to fit, but the engine definitely is not moving an inch forward. I know the instructions say use the 93-96 bracket but I looked at like 5 of them and they all look like mine. Any help is appreciated

There are some difference's with the rear bracket on the H22's...

I compared a JDM H22 rear bracket to a 92-96 H23 rear bracket and like you mentioned there was maybe a 1" difference. I ended up using the USDM H23 bracket.

Also if the jdm accord had a H22 in it, it would explain the 1" difference... then the prelude jdm H22 rear bracket

You will want a USDM H22/H23/F22 Prelude 92-96 rear bracket or 90-93 Accord Dx or LX

Yes the engine is a 93 h22a with what I would assume to be the original rear engine mount bracket. I guess im headed to the honda dealer to compare parts.

ESP do you remember which was the shorter one? The one I have is about an inch too long.

I don't remember off hand but I still have it and if you give me a point with a picture to measure from I will... There was a difference in the webing window towards the through bolt hole as well... I believe one had a larger hole in it then the other as well...

Me and my Honda Tech. both had scratched our heads only thing we could up is the jdm h22 rear bracket must of came from a H22 JDM Accord...which would explain the 1 odd ball rear bracket compared to the handful of the same of the others...
