injector swap..... help
i've been getting miss fires on 3 and 4 cylinders. i have done a full tune up and adjusted my timing and valves. So now i'm thinking it could be the injectors on 3 and 4 but it only does it when the car is fully warm up, thats when it starts to stater.
So i was wondering would OBD1 injectors work on a OBD2 injector plugs??
I have a 97 civic HX

obd2 injectors wont work on obd1. and what i did is , i disconnected negative battery cable. depressurized fuel system. take 3 nuts that holds the fuel rail to intake manifold. and once you pull fuel rail off . removed metal square c clams on the injector clips and then pull injectors off. and while u are replacing injectors, i suggest you get some new injector o rings that goes on to fuel rail.

that, or pull the fuel pump relay and crank the car over for a couple seconds.
or if you laugh in face of danger like i do
crack the 10mm nut open on top of the fuel filter but be sure to wrap a rag around it and clean up the mess!
