Does any used fuel injector work?
I was told that I could use a 1988 to 1993 Eclipse/Talon fuel injector for my 1991 CRX si. While browsing the net I found this interesting fuel injector website:

Based on this table and several conversations I've had with a few parts retailers, most fuel injectors are the same size/shape and are fairly compatible between vehicles. Impedance is the major difference.
Is this true? If so could I grab some larger fuel injectors from vehicles other than a 1988 to 1993 Eclipse/Talon? Does anyone know the makes/models?
Thanks

your car probably wont run with the talon turbo injectors. I thikn they're 440cc's. Injectors can pretty much be massaged to fit into any manifold with some work. Impedance is the main thing. Old turbo T'birds and Merkurs had 36lb injectors in them. Those should run ok in your car. you just have to engineer something to adapt the Bosch injector into the Honda fuel rail.
Those talon injectors are 450cc, they will work just need some type of fuel controller or standalone ecu to handle them. Let me know I ave some for sale if you're looking.
