Default Problems with my CD coupe input please

hey guys i am having a few electrical probs i guess and they have me kinda stumped. First i have a 94 coupe and when i manualy lock my car form the outside with my key it seams that the auto lock actuator i guess locks the door but then keeps on clicking like if it was still trying to lock. It will stay clicking like that for about a minute then stop ???? WTF it has never done that before and and now it just goes crazy every time the door locks..... Second now mind you this all just started happening within the last few days, my car is a 5 speed so i engage the e-brake handle when i park my car. that means that the "BRAKE" light come on in the gaue cluster well now when i take off the e-brake the "BRAKE" light stays on ???? any and all input will be very appreciated from all u guys

well with the BRAKE light staying on after you release the e-brake means your probably low on brake fluid which means you have a leak somewhere as for the lock actuator it could be the actuator itself or and electrical problem

the brake light on does not always mean you are low on brake fluid. This switch on the handle itself may be stuck, making the computer think the e-brake is still engaged.

1) is a dying door lock actuator
2) is probably the switch

I had the same problem with my door locks, like everyone said; it's the actuator. I took it apart and found out there was a little piece of rubber that over times breaks which causes that sound of continuous locking, eventually the motor will die out on it. Just replace it and you'll be fine.

Ok if i have a dying actuator on one door would one effect the other ???? Because both doors are doing the same clicking sound. Does that mean that both have to be changed out or would fixing one help the other ???
