Is there any way to bypass the pressure sensor on my type-r? So I can run my usdm p73 ecu. I am geting a code p1259. Thanks Wolfy

From the ECU plug, cut the vtec pressure switch wire(D6) and tap it into the VTEC solenoid wire(A4). I do this for all the JDM swaps. No cel and vtec works.


Make sure you have sufficient oil though. The pressure switch is the sensor that decides if you have enough oil to cross over to vtec. This method bypasses it.
